President John Magufuli has met with the Executive Secretary of the East African Community , Dr. Richard Sezibera

President John Magufuli has met and negotiating with the Executive Secretary of the East African Community , Dr. Richard Sezibera State House in Dar es Salaam .

 Among other things , President Magufuli has received notice of the preparation of the Summit of Heads of State of the East African Community to be held on March 2 this year in Arusha .

 President Magufuli is the current Chairman of the East African Community consisting of five member countries namely Tanzania , Kenya , Uganda , Rwanda and Burundi . Speaking after the talks, the Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth , Dr Sezibera said the preparation of the meeting goes well .

 He said among other things the meeting, will discuss several issues , including a plan to introduce the automobile industry within the Community in order to reduce the importation of cars from abroad with a passport Marais launch of the East African Community .
